BVLGARI

Bvlgari watches were first created in the late 1800s.  The company was founded by Sotirios Vulgaris, a Greek jeweler who began a shop in Paramythia before moving to Rome, Italy in 1884.  It was during this time that he founded the company that would come to be known as Bvlgari.  He opened his very first Bvlgari store in 1905 with his sons, Constantino and Giorgio.  Though the shop initially focused on jewelry, it wasn’t long before Bvlgari expanded his business to include watches, handbags, and fragrances.  In the 1970s, Bvlgari went international and opened stores in New York City, Paris, Geneva, and Monte Carlo.

The Bvlgari Legacy

Bvlgari has built an exclusive name for itself as the world standard for luxury timepieces since the beginning of the 20th century. Even the highest of European nobility has revered their collections, each constructed with forward-thinking designs and beautiful details.  Their first watches, from as early as the 1920s, were unique and sophisticated, detailed with the finest of precious metals and diamonds. The snake watch was introduced in the 1940s; its striking gold coils and stunning gems have come to exemplify the finest of jeweled watches. Thirty years later, Bvlgari redesigned the snake watch, creating the Tubogas with a unique hand-crafted gold bracelet.  Today, the Bvlgari watch legacy is carried on by relatives of its founder, specifically his grandsons Paulo and Nicola.  In addition, there are now 230 Bvlgari retail locations around the world.

The Bvlgari Watch Collection

Bvlgari’s distinctly innovative designs employ advanced technologies and precious, unique materials as exemplified in the Diagono collections. Only the highest quality manufacturing and intricate attention to detail are used to make each watch a masterpiece.  The original Bvlgari watch, a model known as the Bvlgari Bvlgari, is a classic design that has been at the center of the collection for many years.  The Assioma is a unique Bvlgari watch that has a quadrangular case and is recognizable worldwide for its distinctive design.  There are also Bvlgari watches that have a more contemporary design, including the Rettangolo, which is a sleek and luxurious watch that also features a rectangular face.  One of the most famous models of the Bvlgari watch collection is the Diagono, which is a line of very practical, stylish sport watches.  It is perhaps the most well known of the collection and is named after the Greek term “agon,” which is the word for competition.  The Diagono, which is available for men or women, offers customers a sleek and simple timepiece that they can enjoy.  There are several other Bvlgari watches available, including the Quadrato, the Rettangolo, the B Zero1, and the Ergon.  Each of these styles is a reflection of the traditional elegance and luxury that Bvlgari watches have become known for.
